Who to contact

E-Residency is a national initiative in cooperation with multiple Estonian agencies.

Find the right contact below to answer specific questions.

  The e-Residency digital ID application

The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PBGB) issues all e-Residency digital ID cards. This agency is responsible for processing your application and the final decision about your application.

They can advise on the following questions:

  • What is the status of my application?
  • How can I change important information related to my application?
  • Is my digital ID card ready for collection at the PBGB service point in Estonia?

Contact PBGB directly: ppa@politsei.ee

Be sure you provide PBGB with your full name and date of birth or the application number if you have application-specific questions.

  Digital ID card pick-up

You can pick up your e-Residency digital ID card abroad from an Estonian embassy, consulate or other official pick-up location.

They can answer questions like:

  • Has my e-Residency kit arrived at a pickup location and is it ready for collection?
  • How do I schedule a time to pick up my e-Residency kit?
  • How can I change a pickup location?
  • Is it possible to extend the collection period?

Find more information about pick-up locations and how to contact them here.
