My digital ID has expired. What do I do?
You need to apply for a new document. The application is available here; select “Expiry of document” as the application type.
My passport expired. Do I need to apply for a new e-Residency digital ID?
No. Your e-Residency digital ID is valid for (5) years and is not dependent on the validity of your identification document. Your identification document needs to be valid when submitting the application and when picking up the e-Residency digital ID.
I changed my name. Do I need to apply for a new e-Residency digital ID?
Yes. If your name changes, you will need to apply for a new e-Residency digital ID. This will require you to pay the state fee again. If you know your name will change in the near future we would advise to wait and apply once you have received a new identification document that displays your new name.
