The state fee for renewal or replacement is the same.</p>\n<div class=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"accordion__item\">\n<div class=\"accordion__item-title\">How can I pay the state fee?</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item-content\">The application environment accepts credit cards and debit cards (VISA and Mastercard). If you are using a debit card, please make sure that online payments are enabled.</div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item\">\n<div class=\"accordion__item-title\">Can someone else pay in my behalf?</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item-content\">Yes, state fee can be paid by someone else on your behalf but the payment needs to be done through the application environment.</div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item\">\n<div class=\"accordion__item-title\">Can I receive an invoice?</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item-content\">As the application fee is a state fee, no invoices will be provided, but you should receive a receipt of the payment from the payment service provider. If you would like to request another receipt or have questions regarding your payment, please contact the Police and Border Guard Board at <a href=\"mailto:ppa@politsei.ee\">ppa@politsei.ee</a> </div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item\">\n<div class=\"accordion__item-title\">If my application is not approved, will I get a refund?</div>\n<div class=\"accordion__item-content\">State fee is paid for processing the application and in case the issuance of e-Residency should be declined, state fee will not be refunded as the activity for which the state fee is paid for is completed.</div>\n</div>\n</div>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQR28DQARW585F8QYYT7F30\"> </h2>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQPW4QHA27EAKHNSYTGF7GC\">Company registration fees</h2>\n<p>The state fee to register a private limited company (OÜ) online is <strong>€265</strong>. </p>\n<p>Private limited company is the most popular business entity registered by e-residents. </p>\n<p>State fees for other type's of businesses can be found at <a href=\"https://learn.e-resident.gov.ee/hc/en-gb/articles/11432057891473\">Estonian state fees</a> article. </p>\n<p>Most e-residents n<span lang=\"EN-US\">eed a designated contact person in Estonia, as required by the Commercial Code. This service can be obtained from a virtual office service provider </span> and is, on average, <strong>€200-400 per year.</strong> Service fees vary depending on a service package (some may also include bookkeeping and accounting) and which service provider you choose. You can compare service fees in our <a href=\"https://marketplace.e-resident.gov.ee/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marketplace</a>, but also check with the service providers directly.</p>\n<p>Though it is not a fee, you should also consider the <a href=\"https://learn.e-resident.gov.ee/hc/en-gb/articles/360000798017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">share capital contribution</a>.</p>\n<p>If your company needs to apply for a <a href=\"https://learn.e-resident.gov.ee/hc/en-gb/articles/360000633817\">business license</a>, additional costs may occur. </p>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQR28DQVR7G5ADPNSVRQK9Q\"> </h2>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQQPY07WYR619F6VBV247R0\">Company running costs</h2>\n<p>We strongly recommend using the services of a professional accountant to make sure that your company's bookkeeping and accounting comply with local rules. An accountant can also help you to prepare and submit an annual report, which is mandatory for all Estonian companies (even if they have not been active). Fees for accounting services start from <strong>€50</strong> per month. </p>\n<p>Other company costs will depend on additional services that your company might need such as legal or tax consulting, business advice, sales and marketing, etc. </p>\n<p>Look for a service provider and compare their service fees in our <a href=\"https://marketplace.e-resident.gov.ee/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marketplace</a>.</p>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQR28DQRNZ7MNVMW1FRVHPH\"> </h2>\n<h2 id=\"h_01JTQQV3M68PECKYTRMS93H0B4\">Estonian corporate tax</h2>\n<p>In Estonia, tax is not assessed on the profit earned every year but on a monthly basis, and only when profits have been distributed.
